Maintains the workshop for supply and assembly of prototypes used in TTM projects running in ADS.

What does the role involve?

Building up, and maintain professional workshop for the supply & assembly or prototype tools for the TTMs in ADS. Including own area for the assembly, storage of prototype parts, and network with TWTC (plant engineering team) for re-work activities on machines from P88.

2. Establishing and maintain external (PT suppliers) and internal (HEG & P4 workshop) supply network for prototype parts. Manage the needs for the various TTMs.

3. Accountable for following tasks regarding prototype tools:
- Supply of all necessary prototype parts according drawings/BOM

- Establish and maintain stock of common and frequently used parts (e.g. screws, …)

- Professional assembly of prototype tools and necessary safety checks (e.g. electrical safety)

- Change-over of tools used (e.g. in tests or new components)

- Establish proper documentation on all assemblies/change-overs (e.g. machine book)

- Manage storage area for prototype tools of running TTMs

- Manage close link to BU departments (e.g. development) and test located in ADS, but also in HEG/HAG, as well as to P88 departments (e.g. P88T for line design depending on PT assembly experience)

• PT supply for ADS TTMs

• High quality, documented assembly of prototypes for TTMs

• Achieve tasks on timelines & Quality of achievements

• Compliance with Hilti policies, standards, procedures and specifications

What you need is:

• University graduate or college graduate (mechanical engineering) with 1+ years hands-on experience in an workshop/maintenance department in an industrial environment

• In depth hands-on experience on precise machining (milling, turning, …) & assembly

• Basic experience with CAD software, ideally NX.

• Analytical and organization skills

• PC knowledge in all Microsoft Windows applications

• The candidate must be mature, initiative, independent and proactive

• Experience to work with European or/and overseas technicians

• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

• The person must be an team player

• Open minded for changes and new experiences



S1. Target oriented leading of Time To Money projects from definition of specifications to hand over to
product care in cooperation with the development teams in Asia and Europe.
2. Close communication with project teams and team members in Europe and coordination of the tasks


1. Responsible test engineer in development projects for electric power tools and inserts, especially TTM projects.
2. Planning, execution, and evaluation of functional and durability tests for power tools and their components.
