What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced eBusiness Manager to lead the uptake of Hilti China’s eBusiness solutions (website and eProcurement) to enhance customer experience, engagement, and productivity and expand Hilti’s online sales share with target customers.

What does the role involve?

Develop eBusiness strategy and manage overall performance of Hilti China E-commerce platforms Hilti.cn, eB2B (eProcurement), and internal sales enablement tools (digital catalogue) to drive sustainable online customer engagement, productivity, and sales growth,

Work with sales teams to promote online channels to customers and increase adoption in key business segments for both online purchasing and services.

Collaborate closely with regional E-commerce, marketing, sales and other teams to design and execute online initiatives designed to improve customer experience and drive online sales and/or lead generation.

Identify and deploy new functionalities based on local needs with help/alignment by global/regional counterparts.
Lead and manage online editorial content
Work with product managers for website product information management
Be responsible for website operations including new feature/functions testing and deployment, content management, and serve as first line of support for troubleshooting

Ownership and usage of website related tools:

WCMS, Adobe Experience Manager, Hybris, Google Analytics, JIRA, Confluence, Baidu Webmaster
Develop promotional campaigns with the digital marketing team and execute SEO/SEM strategies to drive traffic that result in increased sales and/or lead generation

Use data analytics for actionable insights to support online sales growth, functionality usage and lead generation

Assess the competitive landscape by examining the strategies of key competitors and online retailers, identifying market trends and best practices that can be applied to our eBusiness site

Identify and recommend new business opportunities to drive growth complementary to our business model and strategy
Support other eBusiness projects as required

What you need is:

  • 5+ years of E-Commerce management experience in a B2B environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above with a focus on eCommerce and/or Marketing
  • Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level with a hands-on attitude
  • Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, to guide business strategy decisions
  • Experience using E-commerce software and platforms, preferably with WCMS, Adobe Experience Manager, Hybris, Google Analytics, JIRA, Confluence, Baidu Webmaster
  • Data driven planning, being able to balance between customer experience and sales growth
  • Strong teamwork spirit, communications, and time management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate and influence decision making at the executive level and operate within a matrix organization
  • Travel as required
