What's the role?

The Northern Europe Measuring Product Manager role will be responsible for managing sales and profit results for the Hub/Region within the given product/s through effective design and implementation of the product strategy. You will agree product/s and/or service specific opportunities with segment managers to deliver opportunities for future growth.

Specifically, you will be responsible for our Measuring portfolio. This includes the following product lines: Line and Point Lasers, Interior Rotators, Exterior Rotators, Multiline Lasers, and Detection Tools. In addition, and of particular importance and relevance strategically are our Digital Layout Tools and Robotics (PLT and Jaibot) which are key focus areas of the portfolio.

What does the role involve?

  • Develop product strategy for trade / Market Organization (MO) and drive implementation.
  • Contribute to development of one-year marketing roadmap for Northern Europe (HUB) and drive implementation.
  • Develop overarching product life cycle / business development initiatives and drive implementation.
  • Monitor competitor offerings, activities and pricing.
  • Provide content for standard communication material within HUB.
  • Analyze and steer critical KPIs: sales, quantity, market share, profitability, NSP.
  • Main interface to trade management and relevant Business Units at our global HQ.
  • Identify specific customer needs in trades and analyse competitive landscape.
  • Assess market potential and define value proposition / pricing.
  • Compose BOD and drive implementation of BOD with Global Business Units.
  • Coordinate and participate in Customer Acceptances, field tests.
  • Influence product specifications and deliver HUB input to critical development gates.
  • Define product positioning by trade and pricing strategy.
  • Define launch dates and plan launch quantities across HUB Mos.
  • Develop marketing plan, launch concept / material in cooperation with trade management.
  • Conduct INP trainings for sales managers / trade managers.

What you need is:

  • Master’s Degree (business administration or engineering)
  • Experience in sales or business development is essential
  • Experience of product management experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of digital layout – focus areas BIM Modeling, BIM2Field, Field2BIM
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels and functions.
  • Strong sensing skills: big picture, market segments, competition and project specific using various methods observation, deskwork, doing the actual job, surveys, research etc.
  • Strong commercial and marketing skills: ability to understand, build, present and communicate the value internally e.g. product launches and externally e.g. journalists.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills and is multi-tasking e.g. MCS support, lease with BU, product promotions etc
  • Ability to manage operational and strategic aspects concurrently

Who should apply?
